In solidarity with the people in Sudan who are currently under fire and trapped in their homes sheltering from two military groups fighting for power, we will be hosting an online screening of the film Talking About Trees by Suhaib Gasmelbari to raise funds for Sudanese American Physicians’ Association (SAPA) emergency medical relief fund.
The situation in Sudan is unbearably difficult right now and the money raised will go to SAPA so please donate generously.
Talking About Trees is a beautiful film about friendship, cinema and the resilience of a small group of filmmakers confronting their past and future in Sudan. It’s one of our favourite films and reflects an ethos we share.
The film will be available to watch for two weeks from 27th April-12th May and is available to watch in the *UK ONLY*. Suggested donations are £5 but please feel free to give what you can afford.
When you sign up for the event the link for viewing the film will appear in the sign up confirmation and the email confirmation.
You can sign up at any point but the film will only be available to watch during this limited period.
We want to thank New Wave Films UK for making the film available for this solidarity screening.
